Jan 16th 2009 3:45PM (Joystiq Nintendo)Either way, because they most likely don't read up on news like the readers on this site (and other blogs), "casuals" have no idea that the RB2 is better than RB1. They probably don't even realize you can buy the game standalone...
I realize Harmonix wanted to put up a fight against GH:WT, but I think releasing RB2 less than a year after RB1 -- on all systems -- was a mistake. It is much improved over their previous offering on the Wii, and for this I will probably pick up the standalone game, but I don't think they are going to see as quick an adoption of RB2 as RB1. Harmonix knows this and that's why they have already announced that they will not put out RB3 this year. It's the best thing they can do, really.
