Lara Croft mannequin mistaken for gunman, house raided

May 16th 2007 12:54PM (Joystiq)
I would say this is very embarrassing on Microsoft’s part. For an event this huge, the beta dubbed “The biggest beta event in gaming history” and the huge campaign to buy Crackdown to get into the beta, and now it is not working at all. I am just bewildered because you would think that this should have been tested over and over again before today.

A majority of Microsoft products do not perform without their share of problems out of the box. After several patches and updates you begin to see what the product should have been when it was released in the first place. This is just another unfortunate example of this.

They only go back to Mid 80s. I go even further back, to the Atari and Intellivision. I remember when Intellivision came out, my friends and I were blown away by the graphics. We have come such a long way.
