if they hadn't have changed Adium to use libpurple they wouldn't be in this mess... when they changed it a couple of point releases ago it caused contacts using Microsoft's Live Communication Server to stop working too as they've not implemented that in libpurple yet :-(

Now if it had been Microsoft that had done that someone would have cried foul and there would be an anti-trust case

I made a mod once for Duke Nukem 3D, a loooong time ago; "Stargate SG-1 : In the Hands of the Serpent", it was a total conversion that I spent years working on pretty much alone, and was never quite finished. It wasn't anything special, but it was fun.
