I'm quite excited about Mass Effect and wager you and I don't know a damn thing about how combat will feel, the implication of our choices, or the nature of the plot (spread across two disks, in 2009, by a talented, programming-competent group like Bioware).

Everyone, no matter your views, this is a legitimate issue for video gamers not as gamers, but as people. I'm not saying agree with McCauley, but at least respond or criticize intelligently instead of living in a politic-free fantasyland.

Cool. I'll finally have a chance to give it a try.

It CAN send text messages just fine (and beautifully) and, from the half hour I spent playing with one, lives up to the hype. It'll hopefully get games and rock and, for those who can both afford it and imagine using the features, is worth the cost.

On my floor, I had the first Wii and now we have 9 (vs. 3 360s, 1 PS3, a few DS Lites, a PSP, 3 N64s, 5 PS2s, 2 Gamecubes, 1 Dreamcast, and 1 SNES).

We sometimes play Halo but Smash Bros. reigns supreme and we pull out Wii Sports or Mario Kart 64 (VC) when the girls come to visit.
