*sigh*.... I'm sure Telltale will make it a hell of a lot of fun. But I'm sorry, Law & Order: LA is an embarrassment to the franchise. It feels like a cheap knock off that you'd see on WB or some crap. It's absolutely horrible and if I was Dick Wolf, I'd sue NBC's ass for ruining his good name.

@boden11 I got it on PS3 right after the 1.02 update that supposedly fixed a lot of bugs. I played it about 60 hours and had a total of 5 or 6 freezes, which is about the same number that I had with Fallout 3 (on PS3 also).

I've heard tons of mixed reports... but I do know that most people started playing it immediately upon release (duh - who wasn't psyched for it??!). I didn't though cuz I was super busy with other stuff, so didn't get to start playing until early January. Maybe the save file itself was corrupted by the corrupt version that so many people started playing... heh, I dunno :)

Just saying, I had very few problems and absolutely loved the game. I do think it's crappy they released it way before it was ready, but I loved it every bit as much, if not more, than FO3.

Chris - stop being so damn defensive of your article. People are not hating just to hate - your article is completely inaccurate and you need to update it to say so. MPEG-LA is only announcing royalty free videos for the END USER. Everyone in between the video and the end user has to pay licensing, period.

I agree, by dividing up exclusive content amongst 4 retailers, there's no way for one person to get them all. Super lame.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited too. BTTF is one of my favorite movies and Telltale is great studio. Very much looking forward to further news!

I don't know how you guys managed to play without VATS. This is why a lot of people never call Fallout 3 a "shooter", because if you try to play it in "real time" the controls are just awful. It's just something with the way your view pans left to right, it's very stiff and inaccurate and I found it nearly impossible to fight anyone without using VATS. I like VATS a lot, I just don't want to use it 100% of the time, which is what I ended up doing with Fallout 3.

The first Deus Ex was such a great game. I wish I had time to replay it. It's hard to resist such an amazing price, and playing the second would be cool (never heard if it was good or not though) - but I just don't have any time in the near future to play them :(
