in fact you can do similar stuff on the psp with homebrew anyway. If you get the PIMP streamer you can just stream media (any music, movies and pictures) wirelessly to the psp
Of course, you need to know and be able to use homebrew though.
The Allies might still have won without an American presance. They would certainly have lost without a Russian presance.
And it could easily be argued that one of the contributing factors to the war was the lack of America in the League of Nations. Without America in the LON, any trade restrictions the League placed on a country (say Italy during the Abyssinian crisis) were useless. The LON was seen as a weak institution in the 30's, so Britain and France were the major players in Europe. They followed a policy of appeasement to Hitler and the rest is history.
Sorry about that (recently had my History exam) but i can't stand all these Americans who seem to think they were there fighting during WW2. Any country that was right next to Germany would have been quickly beaten due to Blitzkrieg. Surrendering was the only option for France, if they didn't the Germans would have just set fire to crops and destroy more villages as they did when they were retreating in WW1.
No need to get so touchy, every country has it's quirks and it's not a very good idea to generalize like that.
There are a lot of countries in Europe other than Germany. Bringing up examples centering solely on Germany with reference to WW2 etc. or common wiki/recent news knowledge does not make one well-traversed.
Look to Finland, can't we all just wish we lived there (or not)? BTW: The Daily Show guy, is he affiliated with any party or is he neutral? I'm guessing he's neutral if he's on 4, or even better he's liberal?
i think your an idiot without a clue about marketing or business or Europe.
I live in the UK and on hearing the price £99, i was surprised at the inexpensiveness. Frankly most people here are prepared to pay higher prices for consumer electronics (look at the sucess of the psp in Europe, i remember it costed something like £250 up until recently, same goes for the 360), pricing the DS Lite lower might worry some consumers who could see it as cheap.
Keeping the price higher also leaves lots of space for price cuts later in the console's life cycle anyway so it seems like a good move for Nintendo. Anyway added costs are meaningless for a black DS lite and earlier launch than NA.
I disagree with you Sick, especially about your views on this particular news post. I don't see how you can deem this post irrelavant, the information Iwata has given in his interview clearly suggests Nintendo will implement a proper use of the USB slots, this news is definetely important.
The bias you describe would probably be a result of the nature of blogs, the bloggers can have an opinion and don't have to bend over backwards for GTA-cloneX due to advertising agreements. This, i believe, results in better journalism and quite frankly is simply more interesting to read.
Personally i prefer the methods used here, praising new ideas and looking for the positive sides instead of going after Nintendo because they are doing something different.
