For Thanksgiving our family normally celebrates it up in north California, and I lug my ps3 for the 6 hour car-ride. I usually play video games there with my 8-year-old cousin...who loves playing Naruto...

How about this for a commercial:
Stick with the same opening scenario, where the wife asks why he bought the ps3 because he already has a ps2. Then, the ad could cut to shots of him displaying various features of the ps3 with good explanations and descriptions of what it can do. At the end, it could fade out with gameplay footage. Maybe Sony is trying to go one feature at a time, but the iPhone did a great job of presenting numerous features at once, so maybe Sony needs another "universe of entertainment" type ads.
