Well its nice being as no other planet surfaces I've visited (which isn't many TBH, I'm still new) haven't had day/night cycles. I hope they start adding them to existing surfaces. It would be epic to see the sunset on SanFran and the Golden Gate bridge at Starfleet Academy.

You could argue Star Trek Online has "personal housing" since everyone can visit their ship's bridge and wander around. There's captain's quarters, sick bay, and engineering, and you can invite other players to your ship to hang out. And Fleet (aka guild) starbases were recently added too. Also it has non-combat focused "diplomatic" missions that players can do to earn XP and currency.

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 had voice commands (both PC and 360 version). It was really fun and worked really slick. Done right, voice commands can be really useful, like in Dance Central 2.

@FlashJS The reason we want to play this is because the original Xcom is one of the first and best tactical/turn-based-strategy games, and we are hoping a company with the credibility like Firaxis, is able to create something as awesome. If you like tactics games like Jagged Alliance, Fallout Tactics, or Silent Storm, you should check out XCOM.

@Kemikalkadet How did you get through the Womb without taking a hit?

I got annoyed because 1) jumping out a two story window shouldn't kill you and 2) It didn't look like it was that high off the ground.

When I used 'showracemenu' and tweaked my looks, it did not reset my level or skills. But I did not actually change race, just the facial features and coloring or my Khajiit. So just save before just in case. Also, from my experience with F:NV, using the console cheats only disable achievements for that session. PS 'fov ##' changes the field of view. 75-85 is good.

I like the subtle "You can play this game without moving your coffee table!" jab at Kinect.

@Rahabib Uhmmm.... Fantasy Flight Mutant Chronicles too.... but I see what you mean: Rage totally rips off Doom 3!
