I currently play more gamecube games on my Wii than Wii games. Fortunately, the drought of quality Wii titles is coming to an end now.

... Mario Sunshine is surprisingly fun.

I'm worried that this game is going to be way too short...

In defense of this game, its neither an Animal Crossing clone, nor a Sims clone. Its its own game.

Wi-fi isn't a huge deal either though. Three years ago, it wouldn't have mattered. Now, suddenly its a make-or-break feature. Calm down and enjoy the gameplay!

I have to agree - I think the IGN article was largely positive. I do think that their terminal sentence was a little harsh or negative, but overall the folks at IGN are pegging the game as a cute, unique alternative to other sim games. I don't think they're quite as excited as other folks are about the game, but I remember hearing virtually nothing about Animal Crossing before it came out. Now its considered one of the greatest Gamecube games of all time.

My vote goes to Harry Potter. Less for the controls than for the camera angles. There were too many times where I needed to aim at something off screen, but because the camera wouldn't ever turn to face it, I couldn't point at it. Some of the spells are slightly annoying to cast too - the floating spell is probably the worst offender.

Elebits was so-so. Better control of objects than Harry Potter, but it made it difficult to set things down gently.

I'm sorry, I need to ask... so what? I doubt Capcom's sales would be affected significantly, and freedom of speech allows them to be blatantly offensive without any legal reprecussions. At least in the US. I'm not sure what European laws are regarding this however.

Grand Theft Auto 3. Fallout 2. Some kind of RTS like Age of Empires III or Starcraft.

And Diablo III.
