Kevin, if you stand by your lack of experience, yet seemingly merit to preview the game for the readers of joystiq, I wouldn't expect you to be so touchy on the subject. The fact is, as a blogger/journalist, you should do some damn background research before you cover an event, and in the videogame journalism realm, that means playing the franchises you will be previewing. Just like we wouldn't want to read a movie review from someone who'd never seen a film before, it's pointless to preview a videogame from a series you're unfimiliar with. Place the blame on joystiq, but don't whine when people are all "wtf?" on you.
