1) Fair enough, but don't expect huge changes, every class has a better survivability spec. 2) Agreed. 3) Agreed. 4) Bullshit, no class significantly changed their playstyle, this is an absurdly biased statement. 5) Welcome to melee dps? You do still have frostshock. 6) Agreed. 7) Somewhat agreed.. but so do: warlocks priests hunters and druids. 8) CC is powerful against every class, a buff in shsman totems might address this though, and they have stated shaman will be getting CC in the future. Don't expect to be able to nuke heal melee and anti-CC. 9) Agreed. 10) Agreed. 11) Good luck with this one, nothing will change here, the choice is your over which weapon to use, blizzard isn't going to alter basic game mechanics that affect every class because shamans want 50 more dps. 12) Agreed, I'd love to see some big changes/improvements to totems in pvp. 13) Boo-hoo, welcome to being a caster, every caster has to spend time casting non-offensive spells that use up the GCD, it's up to you to manage your time and make the best choice based on the options you have. Totems will not come off the GCD.
If you think you can have a life while playing world of warcraft 4-5 hours a night, 5 nights a week, then you and I have very different definitions of "life."
Not to mention all this supposedly time-saving pot farming and strategy reading...
Face it, serious raiding severely hampers social activity outside of WoW.
If you can live with it though, then who cares, but it's pointless to try and argue otherwise.
SC2 is looking great, can't wait for this to come out.
People need to get off the author's back, this is all way before even a beta, so it's not like some in-depth comparison of power between the Toss and Terran units would be accurate by the time this comes out. Not to mention the zerg have only been glimpsed on the outskirts of the demos so far (and perhaps the Xel'Naga will appear? always a possibility) so there will be more chances for this kind of analysis to be made.
The videos are all we really need at this point, for anyone who has played SC1 extensively, the visual experience; the way the game looks and feels is a huge part of what made the original such a lasting force in the RTS genre.
It's also nice to see some new innovation (vikings!) even if it is too early to really judge how these units will eventually be balanced out.
The nit-picky questions I might have are things like, "Do Ghosts still do plasma damage? Are damage types even in use?" and while it would be nice to have that kind of thing answered for the current build, if you didn't take the time and money to go to blizzcon, you're stuck hoping that someone was there who cared about that information and will post it. There's no reason to jump all over the people who ARE posting what they learned.

But for a large group of players, this game is a great option. And despite the $15 a month, a very cost effective form of entertainment.
