Come get some Duke Nukem 3D trailer

Sep 18th 2008 4:39PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I wish I could play this, but if it's anything like Marathon, for some reason the framerate gives me wobbly eyes and a massive headache. Looks like so much fun though!

EA reveals casual sub-brand, Freestyle

I was actually going to ask the same thing. For that matter, whatever happened to EA Big?

'Excuse me for selling my animation cel, Princess!'

This is really just an assembly error. Each of those elements would have been on a different cell (there's probably a good dozen acetate cells to make that up), and whoever assembled the cells together put Link's hair over top of Zelda.

Rumor: 60GB to replace 20GB HDD in 360 Pros

A lot of people were on the fence just because of this whole format war, now that it's over....well you get the point.

Ummm, yeah, so now for an extra $50.00 they can have a sub-par blu ray player (which nobody wants), which will play a whole 350 high defintion movies (which nobody's buying), and about 6 decent games.

Or they can buy an Xbox 360 with HDMI out which up-converts their existing massive library of DVD's to a quality which is "good enough" for most consumers (60% of whom don't own an HD TV).

PLUS they can play the largest library of awesome games of any of the three so called "next generation" consoles.

Load Inc.'s new XBLA thing: Things on Wheels

I LOVED Re-Volt, that was a great game. The PC version of it got much better ratings than the console version, and was a whole ton of fun.

Rumor: Gates to reveal HD DVD Xbox 360 at CES

Jan 2nd 2008 2:19PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I own an Xbox 360, and I'd buy a second one if it came with an HD DVD drive. Especially if it was quieter than the G2 version that I have right now.

Rumor: Rock Band gets delayed in Canada again

Dec 10th 2007 12:00AM (Joystiq Xbox)
Bilingual packing requirements? That's the lamest excuse ever. What extra things do you need? A one-sheet explaining how to set-up the drums and a tiny little six page manual that nobody will ever read? I call Shenanigans.

Rumor: Rock Band gets delayed in Canada again

We aren't talking about Europe, or somewhere else. We're talking about a region that is literally throwing distance to the region that has it.

We are bombarded with American media on a daily basis. We are pretty much the unofficial 53rd state, but sometimes we wait for things for the most inane of reasons, and there's no consistency to it.

You obviously don't know how frustrating it is not being able to get the "hot new thing" day and date when it comes out in the USA.

If you wait for the "hot new thing" long enough it is no longer hot, nor new, just a thing.

Rumor: Rock Band gets delayed in Canada again

This sucks almost enough that it makes me uninterested in Rock Band. My excitement level is inversely proportionate to the release date, and when the rest of our continent has had the game long enough that it's no longer the "Hot New Thing", then I'm pretty much over it.

I REALLY wanted to play Rock Band over the holidays, and if that's not an option any longer, it might be time to look at other ways to spend a couple hundred bucks.

Oh the horror! Elite to use HDMI 1.2 not 1.3
