Japanese survey links video games to learning English
Feb 2nd 2009 12:18PM (Joystiq)So as I said, I totally agree with the responses in that studio. Now If I only had the time to learn the correct grammar, that'd be great too. (I may start this winter to read books if I get time off from reading IT stuff)
Far Cry 2 bundled with Spore DRM
Oct 15th 2008 1:32PM (Joystiq)Besides, they will never find a proper method of DRM as long as the games data resides in the user's computer, so they may as well give up until they find a way to host the game data, which will also be another form of screwing us alright.
Far Cry 2 bundled with Spore DRM
Oct 15th 2008 1:10PM (Joystiq)Not only that, but the only people suffering from those schemes are the good abiding citizens. Pirates will just crack it anyway. Just look at spore, it's the best proof there's that this DRM just exist to annoy decent people. Before it was even released it was being pirated thousands of times. That makes DRM both, useless and unnecessary.

Aug 28th 2008 12:02PM (Joystiq)Now developers (and this is true for most modern devices, not just the ps3) can make use of better middleware, have tons of libraries and algorithms they can use, more memory, more processing power and more everything. The only thing I can think of they have more difficult to come up with is imagination (Old school developers needed that)
I mean, if you take that into account, it makes perfect sense. I don't understand why are you people calling him crazy, and as someone else said, you'd think he knows what he's talking about since he's been developing games for more than a decade.

Aug 13th 2008 12:20PM (Joystiq)Sure, they have a funny style of writing their stories, but that doesn't make them any less trustworthy.
They were the first to break the news about the Sony exploding batteries and several other stories irresponsible companies sensitive and fanboys like the people dissing TheInq would rather not let anyone know.
