He's like Mark Russell -- but sans bow tie and funny.

Wow, beaucoup points for the Billy Joel reference that only five of us caught, likely.

Today's Hottest Game Video: Elite Beat Agents

I have no idea how to play this game, but after watching this commercial -- I still have no idea. Sounds like it could be cool from all I've read about it, but I'm still confused. It's a rhythm game with a cool soundtrack. That's about all I know.

5 reasons to go next-gen later

I'll get the Wii now because I'll be married next year and the Mrs. would never let me spend $300 on video games. Spend the money while you can!

Camino 1.1 Alpha 1

Oct 20th 2006 8:50AM (TUAW.com)
I'll tell you one simple reason I use Camino over Firefox on my machine: I can view movie trailers on Apple's Quicktime website. For whatever reason, the little blue buttons you click on to choose what size trailer you wish to view just don't show up in Firefox, and there's nowhere to click in their place to launch the trailer. In Camino, the buttons show up without a problem.

I do miss Firefox's search box being able to search through different websites other than Google, though.

Macworld on healthy computing

The one glaring omission in the magazine, to me, is the lack of a Wacom tablet recommendation. The mouse used to give me wrist pains after just a few minutes of use. When I switched to the tablet, I was able to work for hours on end without any pain in my arm. It just feels so much more natural.

Some people have a hard time grasping the fundamental concepts of how to use it, but once you do you'll never go back.

How To: Back up your music using iTunes 7

Sep 12th 2006 8:06PM (TUAW.com)
From the article: "Worry not if your collection is larger than a single DVD or CD, iTunes will create a series of discs for you."

I just downloaded the new Barenaked Ladies double album from the iTunes Store. After it finished, instead of the usual reminder to back up my purchased music, iTunes asked me if I wanted to back it up to disc. I threw in a DVD-RW, and away we went. Pretty cool!

It's in progress right now, so I don't know if I'll need a second disc or not. I don't think I've bought enough to fill up past a 4 Gig DVD. . .
