'Rubicon' Canceled By AMC After One Season

Nov 11th 2010 4:04PM (AOL TV)
The season finale was .. disappointing. But I also didn't see how the show was going to last a long time... you can only have so many in-office conspiracies; how do you top that story?

I still liked the show, and would have liked to see it for another season if only to see where they'd take it.

'Glee' Season 2, Episode 6 Recap

Sarah: It's been studied that homophobic men have greater stimulation to (male) homosexual videos than heterosexual or lesbian videos. See Adams, Wright, and Lohr, 1996.

If the link doesn't work, try google scholar.

'Glee' Season 2, Episode 6 Recap

Homophobe actually turns out to be gay. It's the most predictable story line ever.

Though, can't say I saw this one coming.

I think this was a good episode, and had a better balance of drama to song. I hope they keep this balance and for the love of god, STOP THE THEME EPISODES.

'Rubicon' Spy-Themed Giveaway

Oct 14th 2010 5:48PM (AOL TV)
I like pretty much all the spy shows.. I loved Alias and Eyes (I guess that was more of a Private eye show), 24 was cool, Chuck is awesome.. Not so much a fan of the new show Undercovers (its just off, somehow). Spooks/MI-5 is brilliant. Burn Notice is real cool, too.

But of all of them... I'm going to say, in the long run, I can see Rubicon being my favorite. I love the story telling, the look of the show, the acting... I'm not sure how they're going to extend it past this season (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not how Alias kept going after they took down SD-6).

'Glee' Season 2, Episode 4 Recap (VIDEO)

I was going to write something snarky about how I disagree with the review--I think this is one of the better episodes--and berate the author about getting Sam's name wrong.. but I wont.

Stephen Colbert Testifies Before Congressional Hearing on Migrant Workers (VIDEO)

Sep 24th 2010 4:43PM (AOL TV)
Not to say that I don't enjoy seeing Colbert out in the wild doing his thing... I think it's more of a problem with the news media. I know there are biases on both sides, and that should be addressed... but the bigger problem is that the mainstream media just sucks. It's horrible. You can watch an hour of news, and get maybe 2 minutes of information between the stupid puff pieces, hearing "commentators" yell over eachother, reading off press releases (as opposed to doing serious investigation and analysis--where analysis isn't just reading off their sides talking points), and the commercials.

Stephen Colbert to Testify in Front of Congress ... In Character?

Sep 23rd 2010 12:16PM (AOL TV)
I'd hope he doesn't---doing it in character would make a mockery of a serious hearing. If you've ever heard him speak out of character he is a well spoken guy, and think he'd do just fine in front of the committee.

'V' Renewed; 'FlashForward,' 'Scrubs,' 'Better Off Ted,' 'Romantically Challenged' Axed

May 14th 2010 3:45AM (AOL TV)
That sucks about Ted. One of my friends got me to watch it and it was just a good half hour of fun.

I would rather seen FlashForward saved and V axed, but whatever. Both seem to have a story line (like Prison Break did) which seems like they shouldn't drag it on forever. In Prison Break, they break out of prison one season, the next they are on the run... everything beyond that was just stretching it. For FlashForward, it happens, they find out who was behind it, done. For V, aliens come, their intentions discovered, defeat them. None of them benefit from stretching it out forever.
