I'm wondering if they tweaked something last night for Halo on the Xbox 360. There was a patch that I just downloaded yesterday (wasn't available prior to that for me) and volume seemed a lot better (or maybe I'm imagining things).
The biggest problem I have with the 360 headset is that it isn't loud enough. I met a buddy of mine online. Just him and I were talking and I was asking him to repeat himself every other time. I NEVER had to do that on my regular Xbox. If I could just further boost the volume on the 360 headset (it's already maxed), I could forgive the less than wonderful mic quality. I really dig this console (even more than the original), but it irritates me quite a bit that something like this isn't as good as the orginial (when the got Live right the 1st time).
Xbox 360 headset: "cheap," "painful," "horrible" sounding. Oh yeah, it eats babies too (Xbox 360 annoyance #015)
