PSP-2000 in Europe before Japan

Jul 20th 2007 11:21AM (Joystiq)
That works out at roughly £114; thats cheaper than the current PSP in England...

Sony not cutting price in Europe ... ouch!

Jul 13th 2007 3:20AM (Joystiq)
So is it just Europe that isn't getting the price cut or all the regions that got the PS3 late, e.g. Australia? If OZ gets a price cut I'll be pissed...

Could this Prime Minister hopeful beat you at Halo?

Don't you mean minister or MP? He's not the Prime Minister!

Sonic the Hedgehog turns 16

Sonic is now old enough to smoke, get married and have kids here in the UK. He can't buy a drink for another two years though...

Fans want it: FFVII

@ConstyXIV

This is where I read about the 2 cartridges:

Also found this (possibly photoshopped):

Fans want it: FFVII

I don't think fitting FFVII onto a DS catridge would be a problem; I recently read somewhere that Dragon Quest IX will be the first DS game to use 2 catridges. If I remember correctly, there weren't that many FMV sequences in FFVII, maybe 2 or 3 main ones per disk. Anyway, if there's going to be a remake of FFVII it would be on the PS3; having shown a PS3 tech demo, releasing a remake of FFVII on the DS would be a huge slap in the face for sony.

DS Daily: The lost Color

I used to play super mario world and bubble bobble all the time. My mum ruled at those games, she'd play them when I was at school and was the only person I knew who beat super mario world. She also beat alex kidd in miracle world for my master system which was hard core (beating games was so much more impressive back in the day when you couldn't save your progress wasn't it?). Nowadays she just plays those stupid casual games like luxor and zuma. boo!

Good question: why doesn't the Xbox 360 have its own browser?

Oct 15th 2006 9:49AM (Joystiq)
Maybe when IE7 is finally released proper then they will port it to the 360, if so probably in the fall update. It would be cool if you could use firefox on a console, you know Sony's browser is going to be full of lame Sony advertising.

GDC: A meeting with Ragnar Tørnquist and Dreamfall

The new Broken Sword game is going back to the point-and-click interface. I found the focusing aspect of Broken Sword 3 kinda annoying... I hope the new TLJ has better controls than that game did, looks cool though!
