Except there's a big difference in a conveinience store/gas station type company filing for bankruptcy and well a major manufacturing firm that employs thousands and sells vehicles.

There's a big difference between buying gas from a place that is in chapter 11... and buying a car from a company thats in chapter 11. One you really dont think about when you're filling up... the other...well you wont do because of consumer confidence that they might not always be there to back up your warranty or service your vehicle.

Yes Cash, you CAN compare any car to any other car, but by the same token the playing field on which you level the cars has to be even.

Thus i wouldnt be cross shopping a Honda Fit, with a 2009 Dodge Ram Crew Cab with Tow Option. Ya know what i mean?

Certain cars are priced according to certain market conditions and options, etc etc. and appeal to different buyers. Thus you dont see many people comparing a WRX (22-25k) to a Caravan SE-SXT(22-40k) as its a whole different type of market for it.

Can you compare a base model car to a top of the line car in another segment? Of course you can, but then why complain about the difference in price to the base model and one with pretty much all options already in it?

To me it sounds like you're LOOKING for something to complain about with no actual basis on which to back up the argument. I mean knowing that the GT is in the 32k range, why would expect the even higher model to be in the same price range?

But cash there in lies the problem you're comparing a BASE model mid 20k car to a top of the end 40k car with what? 2 options manual and sunroof. So its pretty well loaded as is.

But you're here comparing apples to oranges, i mean its like comparing a Caliber SRT4 to an SRT8 Charger (I'm a dodge salesman so sue me =).

To put it in perspective i drive a R/T Charger that had an MSRP of 38k I COULD of gotten a pretty well loaded Avenger for 22k....but did i feel the charger was 16k better?

Yes...Yes I did. 'course i get employee but still, Charger had more room, and i liked it better. I WOULD of gotten an SRT8 but insurance was a bit...of an issue on that one.

But cars like this, AREN'T for everyone, not everyone needs a 400+hp car, least of all people under 25, so i'm perfectly ifne with this car being priced the way it is, I mean the top end currently is in the 32k range so that would be perfect if you didnt want the 100hp jump. The current G8 GT is just fine as well.

I anxiously downloaded the update this morning about 6am and ugh... i still dont like the new format... I dont know why but it just seems clunky and unneeded compared to the simplicity of the original dashboard.

I'm gonna keep plugging away at it, but so far it seems needlessly excessive.

its offensive, yourself, because its tasteless and in no way promotes any kind of political statement, he's just using the twin towers as a way to get acknowledged due to its like if someone made some kind of "political statement" by mocking people who died at pearl harbor back int he 50's, those that died in wars, etc etc.

Well its just like with anything else.

YOU"LL ALWAYS make more money selling something privately than you would to a store/corporation. Due to the risk factor involved, businessess will take your item no matter the condition usually so you're always guaranteed something, where as selling something privately its a crapshoot but you CAN get more.

So it evens itself out really and if gamestop was so horrible...well..people wouldnt trade stuff in there, but a lot of people just dont feel like going through the hassle of selling something online a lot of times so thats when places like gamestop/gamecrazy/etc come in handy.

AS computer literate and savvy as i am, I hate having to sell stuff through ebay/online/etc when i can avoid it.

Yeah Edge calling GoW a crappy game is like callings Gears a crappy game because its almost like an FPS and is just an exercise in killing things.

God of War is a great game, sure 2 may be more of the same but whats wrong with that? I mean would you change Gears to an RTS for the 2nd outing because thers other shooting games?
