GRAW developer: PS3 not harder to code for than 360
Aug 17th 2007 7:24PM (Joystiq)Then we will see which machine is capable of what. Oh yeah, my PS3 will still be working without a hitch, while you Microsoft tools will be on your 4th or 5th RROD.
Long live the RROD!!!
The advanced lighting alone in Killzone2 puts everything else to shame. Do not beleive me?

GRAW developer: PS3 not harder to code for than 360
Aug 17th 2007 7:17PM (Joystiq)If I were not a free thinker, I would just bash Sony and the PS3 relentlessly just like most of you Microsoft tools do.
How many of you are know your UPS driver well?
I will stop bringing up the RROD when it becomes a non-issue. And when most of you stop saying the same things about the PS3.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Long live the RROD!!!

Aug 17th 2007 5:58PM (Joystiq)...I'm criticizing the developer for talking when his actions seem to prove otherwise....Because truth be told GRAW 2 was not a 360 6 month exclusive
Did it ever occur to you that maybe just maybe they did not start on the PS3 version till much later? Or, maybe they started almost from scratch. According to Julian from Factor 5, he said it was not a good idea to bring existing code from PC's or the 360 over to the 3. He also said you are better off starting from scratch on the 3 or developing 1st on the 3 and then porting over to the 360.
Again, he is a developer you guys are not. I will take what a developer says more seriously than either of you 2.

Aug 17th 2007 5:41PM (Joystiq)Just like the early days of the PS2 when dev's were complaining, just give it time. A year from now we will see games that make the current offerings look very early. And I am not just talking about graphics.
Killzone2 and MGS4 are early examples of the gaming goodness that await the 360 and PS3 owners.

Aug 17th 2007 5:36PM (Joystiq)Why do you have to make an ass out of yourself by commenting on every single PS3 related article?
Did Sony take advantage of you as a little boy?

Aug 17th 2007 5:31PM (Joystiq)Ratchet Week: Tools of Destruction hands-on
Aug 17th 2007 10:09AM (Joystiq Playstation)He loves the game, the graphics look really dated but the trademark humor and gameplay is still there. Seeing him play this game and then seeing the trailers for the PS3 version has made my appetite for this game very, very, big.
Not to metion I can play this game with my 5 yr old son and my 2 yr old can watch.
Thank you for what seems to be another masterpiece Insomniac!!!!

Aug 17th 2007 9:59AM (Joystiq)"Plus I dare any sony fanboy to deny that IF LBP was on the WIi that the sony fanboys/trolls wouldn't be screaming, "ZOMG the Wii is soo kiddie! What a bunch of losers! Mario is gay! LOLZ!""
1st of all, the irony of your name kills me. ForceUnleashed could never, I repeat never work on the Wii. The physics alone would make it take a crap so big you would think that your Wii was going thru childbirth. Notice I said nothing about graphics?
2nd, LBP could not be done on the Wii. Again, the physics calculations alone would immediatly cripple your Overclocked GameCube in a shiny white suit. Repeat, I have said nothing about graphics.
I agree that graphics are not everything, but without continually evolving graphics capabilities with each new generation, gaming experiences for me at least would become stale and boring.
I need NEW vastly improved hardware for every generation that will give me better graphics, better gameplay, better physics, better environmnets, better sound, BIGGER worlds, more realtime detructable environments, more movement/complicated chaos on screen, High Defenition, more advanced AI, more color depth, better lighiting.
Did I miss anything Mr. ForceUnleashed?
The reasons I just listed above is why I have no interest in the repackaged Game Cube.
And if you have not noticed the PS1, PS2, and now the PS3 had platformers like this. I love games from all different genres. From GTA to GT to FF to RaC to SotC, to Okami to Killzone.
And I am absolutely sure I will love LBP and I am also absolutely sure you will be dying to play it but unless you buy a PS3, you will be like a kid staring thru the window at the toystore knowing that you can look but never touch.
