Time magazine weighs in on Halo 3

Sep 5th 2007 6:43PM (Joystiq Xbox)
This also just goes to show that Halo is indeed still in the "gaming ghetto". The statement "The cliche about gamers is that they're antisocial, if not sociopathic, but Bungie is very much a community." couldn't be more true when sites like Final Fight pick up the story and are absolutely clueless as to the context of the article and are so easy to take offense, while I'm sure everyone at Bungie is beaming over this article in a respected news magazine like TIME.

So as not to cause any employees to have a mental breakdown, I usually stick to the easy questions, like "Where is the restroom?"

CSI: Miami - Rampage

May 16th 2006 5:15PM (AOL TV)
This season started out pretty good with the whole Male Noche thing, but it's continually gone down the crapper. The Marisol/Horatio storyline feels rushed and ingenuous, not to mention a little uncomfortable. Neither Delko or Horation seemed as concerned as they should've been. That and the whole "mole" subplot seems to be going nowhere. I don't even care who the mole is...

And I have to agree on Caruso's acting. His cadence and mannerisms have reached such a level of predictability that it's just ridiculous. What happened to CSI: Miami? C'mon guys, get it together.

I don't doubt that for a second.

Reeve's 'Superman' To Receive New Life On DVD

Sep 30th 2005 7:24AM (Cinematical)
Janet, I'm all for remembering 9/11 and those that were lost. I'm feelin' that. But I gotta agree with Cinematical here. The objection isn't to images of NYC or the towers, but rather the fact that they're ON FIRE! When this movie was released, this country didn't know what it would really be like to have one of it's largest city in chaos, but now we do, and we shouldn't take it lightly anymore. Like when Gene Kelly started appearing in Coke ads; it's good to remember, but don't tarnish the memories. And even then, Superman doesn't technically take place in NYC, but Metropolis, so I'm sure WB can do whatever they want and use that as they're excuse.
