@Esposch I agree. I also hope they make the grind to get the higher tier patapons less horrible.

Grind forever to make a bunch of treepons, give them the worst weapons, fight a boss for two hours to get him to pop items until the screen's itinerary literally breaks and it can't list the amount of items you get anymore.

I love Patapon 1 and 2, but man, it was one of the first times in gaming where the sheer amount of grind outweighed my neurotic compulsion to get/upgrade everything.

@Cerpin Taxt I guess the same goes for the DS with the DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, and now the 3DS.

What's with the e.e. cummings naming lately? Split/Second, Retro/Grade, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Bit.Trip games, etc.

How are we supposed to pronounce things like that? Is it "Split second" or "Split slash second" or "Split over second" (which I think the Kingdom Hearts one is supposed to be) or "Retro divided by grade" or "Bit (pause) Trip" or "Bit dot trip?"

I feel like I missed some kind of internet meme that would explain all this to me or something :P.

Most MMOs can be considered incredibly shallow: kill ten rats, collect ten flowers, bring this envelope to this guy, click resource nodes for hours then click a craft button for more hours, etc.

Granted, however, the kinds of MMOs I mentioned above have a wide variety of shallow tasks :P.

That screenshot almost looks like a parody of japanese games. Those weapons are humongous.

Do you have to spend the coins you've earned over the year because they reset, or can you save them up to roll over into next year or something? I assume you have to spend them?

Aside from the Team ICO HD package, I'll take a Harmonix HD package, thankyouverymuch.

The FreQuency tunnel with HD graphics/sound would give people seizures.
