I cannot believe how you people consider "wee" to be an offensive word. Piss is piss. "Wee" is said by little kids. Anyone over 12 (at least here in North America, but probably in the UK too) NEVER uses that word. And what, you guys think that a few 8-year-olds are gonna make fun of the name so much that it fails? That they're gonna influence teenagers and adults not to buy the thing just because it sounds like "wee"? I can bet you that if you asked a mature adult here about what they think of when they hear the name "Wii" they would never even think of the child's word for piss.
You guys are making an enormously big deal of a stupid word that little kiddies use, which NO MATURE PERSON EVEN USES.
Nobody in North America over 12 years old refers to piss as "wee", not to mention a penis. And I'm sure no teenagers and adults in the UK actually say that either. And remember how you guys wanted Nintendo to lose it's "kiddiness"? That's exactly what it's doing. It's saying, "We're aiming it towards mature, smart people and if anyone stupid and immature enough can't handle the name, too bad for them."
It's like half the people replying here are 9-year-olds.
