Oh yeah...I always forget about that. I just assume my money is whisked away once I hit that purchase for some reason..

I suppose that this is the new way to make money. Place an unrealistic price on a game, post on website, give a "tip" to a games website, have people purchase, make some money off the interest, then cancel the orders or charge full amount.

The only thing I can possibly see with this is that they hope to make money off the interest of having the preorders to compensate for lost money once the game is released.

Likewise...Rock Band had me with the New Pornographers, and now The Sounds? It's great that they're not just sticking with classic tunes or main stream stuff and providing some variety.

I officially own a SE Rock Band for the Xbox 360. Best Buy in Woodbridge received 10 special editions around noon. I got a call from my cousin who works there and I booted it over ASAP. Too bad I'm at work right and won't be able to play it until tonight. Also, it seems as though they are selling it for $170.

It seems stores around the Toronto area are in fact getting random shipments of the SE for both PS3 and X360, as I yesterday the same store had the SE for the PS3. Good luck to everyone.

it was 5:45 yesterday and they had 4 boxes left on the floor (from 16)

I got a nice swift kick to the nuts this evening. Best Buy in Woodbridge had 16 SE boxes delivered today. I got my butt there ASAP and noticed they were even selling it for $170 ($30 off the $200 price) and I was all ready to buy it....and noticed it was the PS3 version and not the Xbox 360 version.

Should be in (unlike Rock Band). Futureshop and Best Buy are already saying the game is in stock, just not for sale until tomorrow.

Can't wait.

I'm a big fan of the show because it has been so well written...until this particular episode (which was last week). Such a shame they did this to what has been such a great show. Hopefully this weeks episode is much better.

While video games could be ONE potential problem, there's equal argument for many others. Parents who live through their children. Club politics which ignore certain players over others because they know their dad or coach. The child is short, which limits their on field effectiveness.

Remember, most children love playing games, whether video or sports. It's the external influences and pressures that determine what sort of games the child ends up enjoying most.
