What do you mean? They're not losing any money on this. SquareEnix is paying GameStop for each returned copy of Deus Ex.

Actually no, it doesn't happen as often as you make it seem. ;p Maybe once every 3 months. Still pretty often, but it's not like every other week.

Actually no, there's no case. ;p They can't be sued for this. SquareEnix is actually PAYING GameStop for every PC copy they send back. This was a mutual decision between Square and GameStop. ;p They're doing this because they know they did something wrong in the start and doesn't want to lose that huge amount of customer base.

I usually defend GameStop, but OnLive is a competitor? Really? When I was working at GameStop I heard my district manager say "You can't send people to TradeNGames! They're our competitor!" And I always thought "...they make less money... they do 100% used... and most of their sales are classic systems... They're competing how?" And OnLive? A competitor?

Yes, a better example than TNG sure, but Steam's a competitor too(and a better one at that). They didn't remove the free Portal 2 PC copies from the PS3 versions.
