Especially given that they also run the regulatory agencies and can "investigate" their competitors, as is happening with Toyota right now. That could have been seen coming 100 miles away by anyone paying attention. To own both a means of production and the means of damaging one's "competition" is a recipe for corruption.

You do not. charge. more for the digital copy than the physical one. This has been shown over and over again. What's it going to take for publishers to finally GET this?
I will eventually. Someone has finally put out one page-size reader to read them all (Mobi, eReader, Kindle, Zinio). I've been waiting for what seems like forever for that to happen.
Since B&N recently acquired Fictionwise, the question arises: Will their reader read any of the formats sold there, or will they use yet another format?
