Kotick questions continued Activision support of Sony platforms [update]
Jun 19th 2009 10:50AM (Joystiq)Its quite possible that instead of developing one game for 360 and PS3, it may be possible for Activision to create 2 360 games, and make far more money, for exactly the same effort.
Activision is a business, and especially in these economic times, business' will follow the money, they wont just blindly follow Sony.

Jan 1st 2008 3:03AM (Joystiq)One of the best things about the 360, is that you dont need a HDTV to enjoy high resolutions.
The 360 allows you to use VGA monitors (via a £10 lead), or DVI (if you have a HDMI 360), and has support for numerous monitor resolutions.

Aug 16th 2007 3:09AM (Joystiq)The XBLA has been a massive hit on the 360, and casual games seems like a real big growth area in gaming right now. By adding PC to the target audience, there is even more reason for developers to jump on the band wagon.
Sure you can get free flash games on a PC, but i'll happily pay a couple of quid for a game from a talented developer, and knowing i can choose between playing on PC, or 360 makes it even more attractive!
Steam, Gametap, etc are good alternatives, but they dont offer the larger userbase of the 360, so Vegas offers a much better opportunity for developers!
