Dear Sony,

My name is Jonathan Britton, I am 22 years old and I live in Southeast London in Lee.
I am very disappointed with the way you view us consumer in UK and Europe.
I use to stick up for you and defined the PS3, when ever anyone would put the console down. But after seeing the Japanese, Hong Kong and USA PlayStation Store; it’s now come down to me saying the one thing that every one else is.
You do not care about your consumers in the UK or Europe…!
After reading this article, it really does show people that you do not care about how we feel and what we think:

Sony executive VP Jamie MacDonald had this to say when asked by Games Industry .biz regarding later releases (or delays) in Europe:

"European consumers have shown that historically they don't mind [the delays], because they end up buying as many PlayStations, if not more, than the US and Japan. In Europe, it doesn't seem that the release of our platforms after the US and Japan-in the long run-affects how consumers feel ... If we were sitting here in five years' time, I don't think we'd really think about or notice that PlayStation 3 was four or five months later in Europe."

First thing is, that is not true.
I use to work in Game in Hamleys in London, and a lot of people were complaining about the delay of the PS3 in Europe, also a lot of gamers in the UK feel like they have been treated unfairly regarding the 20GB PS3 not being relished and now the 80GB PS3 may not be relished in Europe this year:

“Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president David Reeves isn't planning on selling that 80GB PS3 in your hood anytime soon. Writing for MCV, Reeves states that
“the larger hard drive only makes sense in a market like South Korea, which has "very high broadband penetration and the people there are used to downloading content, so they require a certain size hard drive.”
“Ouch, way to underestimate your consumers -- better start downloading more movies, Europe.”

We do not want to spend time downloading movie trailers of films on the PlayStation Store that are coming out on Blu-Ray DVD, when we can already see that on the internet.
I do fully understand that you do need to advertise them in one way or another.
But we do want the 80GB PS3.
Why…? You might ask, so we can use that space to go towards Linux on the PS3, and be able to copy the TV shows and films we have on our hard drive of our PC, and move them on to our PS3, and have more space to put our music collection, full games and game demos that we have downloaded from the PlayStation Store.

This seems like a really cool update just waiting for home to come out now to. I've also written a letter to Sony about the way the look and treat us UK gamers I've posted it up on my Profile on Hi5 read it and leave a comment and tell me what you think. Sony i use to stick up for you and defined the PS3 but after seeing the Japanese and Hong Kong, USA PS Store its come down to me saying what everyone else is you do not care about people in the UK.

Japanese PS store has so meny PS1 games they have Tekken 2 FPS alot of Plat formers and RPG. they have alot of add ons to boot to like sonic blast factory. what do we have 3 PS1 games 3 addon packs for 3 games Motor storm Ridge Racer 7 and Genji.
What the hell gives you the right to put games on the Playstation Network that don’t work for one Spyro 2 it wont load a level and i’m stoped looking at a black screen.
I wont my Money back.
You say that you want the gamers to have a good experiences on the PS3 all the other the world the only country i see that the gamers ant complaneing is Japan because they get games that don’t get relised in europe games that i for would like to play and read it in English not Japanese.

We don’t want stupid trailers that we can see on the net or on TV of films coming out the Japanese site hardly has does they have the Game Movies which i think is Fantastic why the hell did you only bring out Boku no Natsu Yasumi 3 in Japan i was looking forward to that i was even going to buy a copy online when i find out that you can’t change the language to English and that it doesn’t have english sub titles in it get your act together.

And what happend to Supper Puzzle street fighter HD that was supposed to be a world wide relish why is Europe always last in line we still don’t even have Tekken 5 DR online.

Sony if i have to write a letter to you i will. And if things do not change i will take this as fare as i can just to see that u are trying to in prove things.

I'm getting sick of this Console war the PS3 and the 360 are borth really good Consoles the PS3 has things the 360 doesn't and the same goes with the 360.

Main reason why i like the PS3 is beacuse the PS3 is silent doesn't sound like a Plane ready for take of and its finding cures for cancer now these people that say ps3 sucks would u still say that if anyone in ur family has got cancer.

The PS3 does research to cure cancer now if u don't know what that is look it up.

Also because of the games that you will not find on the 360 Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII VS XIII, Kingdom Hearts 3, Home The Getaway 3 Warhawk Lair Heavenly Sword FIFA 08 Folklore The Eye of Judgment Haze Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier SingStar Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. And thoes are the games comeing out for the ps3.

And then u have people that say the PS3 graphics sack but they don't they are just as good as the 360 but the 360 is a bit better but the PS3 has something that helps the Graphics more for the PS3 and thats the Blu Ray.

Because of the cell and the GPU and the Blu Ray of the PS3 that alows companys to put more detail in to the game for example Oblivion.

The Developers said that it is an exact copy of the game but they only modified it to fit the Ps3's hardware.

They said that the textures and details wasn't possibly for the 360. not even just that it has better loading times to. I have it for my 360 and PS3.
