Tankadin gear updates
Mar 21st 2007 11:59AM (WoW)Druids enjoy tanking -> Nerf bear armor (from 450% to 400%) and DPS (+20% damage talent no longer affects bearform skills). Nerf DPS more (41 point talent Mangle does less damage than trainable Maul).
Paladins enjoy tanking -> Put a bubble nerf in the PTR notes, then remove it. Improve tankadin itemization.
I can understand minor adjustments, but feral druids just got hosed and now paladins are being helped. Strange.
Breakfast Topic: What do I level next?
Mar 16th 2007 8:57AM (WoW)That said, you've played all your 60s that far so go with what's most fun. Leveling the warrior could be frustrating, but my super imbalanced 70 feral druid was getting rocked by every decently geared warrior... before the patch. If you were planning on going feral with the druid, play something else - mangle in bear form does less damage now that maul, for the low low price of 50% more rage and 41 talent points.
Breakfast Topic: Multiple accounts
Mar 9th 2007 9:39AM (WoW)As for Xzin and copycats... I'm impressed that he set up a system that allows control over 5 characters at once. There's a lot to consider and it's cool that somebody made it work. I'm not so impressed that he proceeded to macro his way through the honor grind over the next several months, because that's just lame.
You can't go home again
Mar 8th 2007 4:58PM (WoW)Heck, if Blizzard does that and gets the BG matching system to work... they can spend 3 or 4 years on the next expansion :)
Druids get a hotfixy gift
Mar 7th 2007 9:20AM (WoW)Then again Blizzard also decided hunters should be able to lay traps in combat, so some things will always be a mystery to me I suppose :)
A fresh set of 2.0.10 patch notes
Mar 6th 2007 9:10AM (WoW)I agree with Deafdumbandblind; I've never played a warrior but if they're hurting that much, tweak some things to fix it. I wouldn't even mind minor nerfs to bear-mangle or armor... ruining bear form DPS (WHILE reducing our armor) and nerfing cat form a little at the same time is just crap. Unless Blizzard actually does want feral druids to suck, which I doubt, I expect further adjustments down the line.
The delicate balance of raid consumables
Mar 2nd 2007 11:18AM (WoW)On the other hand, I agree with Sylythn that people need to slow down some when it comes to the new raids. My roommate had to cross himself off the raid list in his guild because they ran the 5-mans just enough to get keyed, and now are failing at the raids without getting people into dungeon sets first.
Is there hope for the priest class?
Feb 26th 2007 9:49AM (WoW)At level 61 my (shadow) priest is in hot water if a level 61-62 mob resists a couple of spells, or if I get a single add. In PvP (at 60, I haven't dared try since the expansion), disc/shadow spec makes me wish I were a lock and disc/holy makes me dead. Is this what Blizzard has in mind for 70 priests, too?
Quiet paladin nerfing
Feb 26th 2007 9:25AM (WoW)I do feel for the holy pallies getting hosed by this, but Blizzard needed to do something about the fact that retribution losers can run around blasting the crap out of people and then heal at the last second with no chance of interruption. Then again, maybe that's just the bitter feral druid in me talking, haha,
Breakfast Topic: Patch 2.0.10, thumbs up or thumbs down?
Feb 24th 2007 9:07AM (WoW)It'll be harder for me to tank, and harder for me to PvP. But hey, as long as warriors get buffed, especially now that more of them are getting better weapons, more armor, and more stamina at level 70.
