When my grandma on my mom's side of the family was still alive, she had the idea that instead of going to have brunch in our clothes, we should wear pajamas. I remember being so WTF about it at first, like many members of the family were. But, everyone still followed her rules and came to her house in our pajamas. It ended up being pretty cute. She even made us all do a "runway" show while she played commentator to our varying sleepwear. The tradition that we made fun of was something that we ended up loving for the next couple of years that we got to celebrate it at her house.
