Mar 24th 2011 8:41AM (Joystiq)It feels like people are more curious as to what kind of review scores it's going to garner, rather than actually pre-order it. Delaying it again seems to bring up chuckles (not lolz) and I think most people just move on rather than even giving a flip.
Good luck, Gearbox.

Mar 21st 2011 6:36PM (Joystiq)Power Stone introduced us to the gorgeous idea of an isometric fighting game, and threw in fun, dynamic environments to boot. The fighting was balanced, so like Tekken -- you could just go through the game fighter after fighter, and have a ball doing it.

Feb 16th 2011 5:22PM (Joystiq)It's not a "you crossed the line you dirty game developers" sort of thing, but more of a -- I just don't think I want to play a game full of evocative experiences of my daughter getting killed.
Then again, it'll be very difficult for the game to keep that evocative feel going.
I just find it interesting that, because of its "shock moments" ... I was simultaneously impressed with the trailer and determined that I wasn't going to play the game.

Feb 16th 2011 5:18PM (Joystiq)There's still a lurching problem, and that's the shock value of the child being killed. It's too easy to throw "shock" into games for just shock's sake (though they way they did this one was well done).
I mean, it looks like it could be a good game if the narrative can hold up.
But just to be clear, as a father of two little girls, watching that trailer was like a nightmare ... I think I'd rather be IN Silent Hill than playing this game.

Feb 4th 2011 3:29PM (Joystiq)The only game I own on the list is Galaga Legions -- and I can tell you that game is pure awesome. Namco should get muchos kudos for the fantastic arcade remakes they've been putting out.
