I didn't know i could download items off of the old xbox live on xbox1. So wouldn't that make this a one year deal, with the exception of the installed xbox live base that they already had?

I just have one thing to say about that 3:1 ratio. It is only that high because just a few months ago their were almost 0 blu-ray, and now their are more than a million. that is why it is 3:1. I just had to point that out before someone comes in here and starts using that as a reason to say blu-ray is more popular than HD-DVD. Now I can't see the difference between the two pictures. But does Blu-ray have more movies out for it? It does have more studios backing it up right?

Well, Kruegmeister their is one thing I found wrong with your addition. The HardDrive is only 100$ for the 360, making every year 100 dollars smaller than what you portrayed.

I agree with the fact that the price will keep going up and up and up. But think of this... if your phone bill costs 50$ a month. In 5 years I doubt you will look back and say how much you have paid for your phone bill. I've had xbox live since March of 2002 I think. And if I add it up right I think I’ve spent around 250 dollars on that alone. Now I'm also thinking of what I had looked like in 2002. I was in 8th grade. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I had a blast! I remember having the ps2 also. That was a kick a$$ time to. I liked both systems and i think price is not what to compare systems to.

If you complain about 50 dollars for a year of countless hours of entertainment then you should consider this. How many games do you buy a year and if you buy a couple then subtract one. I you only buy one then get the ps3 for 200 dollars more and forget about 4 years of fun live experience with some problems but I think we all agree much less problems then with the ps3. (At this time, who know what it will be like in four years) Both look tempting but you should stop complaining and look at what is best for you. If you read a dumb a$$ comment about your favorite system then i think you need to show a little restraint like all humans should from time to time and leave it off the forums.

p.s. If any fanboy goes crazy and starts giving me sh1T. The opposite fanboy and their own fanboys should show some of that restraint I commented on and just skip their Comment. I don't think it is a sign of a Dreamcast disaster. If you think about it almost all the hardcore gamers have already paid for a 360. Which means that the recent 360 being baught show that casual gamers are interested in the 360 too. Just because people are buying many games dosen't say only hardcore gamers buy 360's. Now I can't say that for the ps3. With the price of the machine i feel it will only appeal to hardcore gamers. What 10 year old is going to want a 600$ machine when they can get a wii. I no for a fact! People come over to my place all the time just to play with my "Wii". I love my "Wii". four people can play with my "Wii" at a single time. I brought my "Wii" over to my girlfriends house last night and we "Played with my "Wii" all night long"...........Yes im done with the "Wii jokes" No hard feelings Wii fanboys. :)

I can't wait to play this game. 150 hours on Oblivion has made me sick of the game and I still got 3 more achivements to go. Another RPG is just what I need to play in the odles of extra time I have. Hopefully I won't have to wait much longer.

Im not trashing the ps3 or anything but, im not willing to pay 500 dollars plus money for games and other cool stuff. I just rather go for the xbox 360. I mean its cheeper and i think it has a decent chance at making a big hole in sony's profit. Becides i herd that the ps3 was going to loose just around one billion dollars after selling the ps3's. I think their making a system for the people but arn't making a system for profit. That scares me. (No disrespect to P.S. fans its just how i see it.)
