Feb 23rd 2012 3:42PM (Joystiq)I hope so.
BF3 was ok, but the non destructable urban enviroment kinda sucked.
Leveling an entire map in BC2 was half the fun.

Dec 1st 2011 7:24PM (Joystiq)Battlefield 3 patched for PC, server-side; consoles waiting on certification
Nov 22nd 2011 10:58PM (Joystiq)I'm hoping that there is a bad company 3, this game doesn't even compare to it. I don't think there is any update that would make this game as much fun.
BF3 feels like a big disorganized mess.
No good destruction, picking a god damn weapon hurts my eyes.
Might as well be MW3.
Battlefield 3 review: Squad score bonus
Oct 24th 2011 8:23PM (Joystiq)I'll certainly be picking this game up. Although i don't even have it yet and i'm concerned you can't level the whole place, i really enjoyed it.
But i'm really wondering why EA even bothers with the campaign mode.\
Sounds like it sucks again, and likely i won't even give it the 20 minutes i gave bc2.
Straight to multiplayer.
Nielsen taps most anticipated games, Modern Warfare 3 on top
Sep 30th 2011 5:58PM (Joystiq)You got that right.
Same game different maps.
Year after year people are fed minor updates to the game, but people keep buying it.
Mediocre game at best.

Sep 30th 2011 5:56PM (Joystiq)But since i found bad company 2, i just don't like them anymore.
Both gears and COD feel like there is too much pray and spray.
Call of duty fanboys are like iphone owners, no matter what else is on the market, they never stray from the flock and try something different.
And because of that they are missing better products.
Seriously, call of duty and the iphone have been nearly the same year after year. Make a few minor changes and fanboys are all over them.
No doubt battlefield 3 will be the best game this year.
Even though i'll assume call of duty out sells it.
Forza Motorsport 4 debuts Hockenheim track at Gamescom
Aug 16th 2011 6:51PM (Joystiq)But i have my doubts about it regaining my attention.
I used to love racing games, but lately, they just bore me.
I was more entertained by need for speed hot pursuit than i was the last forza, too bad NFS barely had any tracks or challenges.
Project gotham was another one of my favorites, fun offline mode, and very competitive online racing due to the fact that you couldn't mess with the cars.
I just wonder if gran turismo and forza take it too far in a similar fashion as Maddens football. All the hardcore players stay, but the casual gamers don't want to invest the time, so they give up easy.
Come on, 50 lap races in the last forza? Why bother when you are up by 5 laps?
UK GAMEfest goes hands-on with Modern Warfare 3 this September
Aug 14th 2011 7:05PM (Joystiq)I was all about MW2, until i tried bad company 2.
Anyone that has an open mind and isn't a fanboy that tries battlefield 3 may not ever go back to call of duty anything.
If they don't overhaul the points/kills system (so that kills are less important than winning) and give MW3 destructable environments i see no reason to play ever again.
Blowing up buildings and the addition of real teamwork is something i now require. Anyone that disagree's should try it before they knock it.
