Feb 1st 2010 10:35AM (Massively)We have an agenda: Global Agenda launch day coverage and play with Massively event
Feb 1st 2010 10:25AM (Massively)Global Agenda is a terrible game. Seriously.
I played in the beta after pre-ordering on Steam, and it was so bad that I asked for a refund, which I received.
This game is not an MMO by any stretch of the imagination. Global Agenda's 10 vs. 10 matches have a lower total player count than the vast majority of single-player games with lazily tacked-on multiplayer features.
If you are really itching for a FPS with a massive player count, pick up MAG for the PS3. It is a far superior FPS experience, with 128 vs. 128 matches, with no monthly fee.

Jan 22nd 2010 11:18AM (Massively)Sony America scraps UMD-to-PSP Go conversion plans
Sep 25th 2009 1:25PM (Joystiq)Second of all, the 3 games that you have to trade in only need to be worth $1. They can be the 3 crapiest games that you own that you never play.
So, you're trading in the old PSP that you no longer want (that's why you're upgrading, remember) and you're getting rid of 3 crappy games that you never play, and you're getting a brand new PSP Go for $150.
Then, according to the Internets, from October 1st through October 10th, all PSP games available for download on the PSN will be 25% to 50% off. So, you take the $100 in value you earned from you trade-in, and you buy $100 worth of the UMD games you want to replace.
Sony isn't going to just give PSP GOs away for free, you know. You don't HAVE to upgrade, you know. If you really want to upgrade, there is value to be found in the deal. Yes, I too wish that the PSP GO was cheaper, and yes, I too wish that there was a "goodwill program" in place. But, if I really want to upgrade to a PSP GO, then the scenario I presented above will need to be good enough.
And honestly, $100 in value sounds pretty good to me considering this is a luxury good that I most certainly do not need.
Sony America scraps UMD-to-PSP Go conversion plans
Sep 25th 2009 12:48PM (Joystiq)HOWEVER, in America, Gamestops are offering a trade-in deal where, if you trade-in your PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 plus 3 UMDs worth at least $1 in trade-in value, you will receive $100 off of the PSP GO.
In Europe, Sony is offering 3 free games, all of which are valued at $20 (they're all Greatest Hits), and Grand Turismo Portable for free to buyers in the first 10 days. That equals $20x3 = $60 + $40 = $100 in value for European customers.
Likewise, with the Gamestop deal, Americans will receive $100 in value towards a PSP GO upgrade.
$100 = $100, everyone SHOULD be happy.
