12 Days of Joyswag: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector's Edition (or: free dragons)

I would abandon all responsibility and work on becoming a quivering pool of fat, soda, and Cheetos dust.

You really should have seen this amazing footage from The Avengers video game

@shabby329

Derp, double post. Actually, Fox owns the film rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four, and that's why you haven't/won't see them in future Marvel Studios films. However, Marvel does own video game rights to these properties, so theres a chance you could see them pop up in an Avengers video game. Where it gets tricky is when you bring up something like a Super-Skrull.

The question is, does Fox also own the film rights to the iconic X-Men/Fantastic Four powers? I'm inclined to think not, so we may end up seeing a super-skrull or two in the Avengers film that have powers very similar to superheroes featured in other film franchises.

Stellar: Incubus track pack heading to Rock Band in August

Actually, 'Dig' by Incubus was playable in Lego: Rock Band and subsequently available for transfer into Rock Band 2/3.

Nintendo Wii U games montage: Darksiders 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines and more

Jun 7th 2011 3:44PM (Joystiq)
Okay, the Wii U does look great and I think for the next two years or so we'll see some really solid third-party support and multiplatform releases. Here's the problem: Nintendo is setting itself up for the same trap it fell into with the original Wii. By releasing a system now that will not have parity with MS and Sony's next-gen systems when they come out in a couple of years, they are ultimately going to be left behind again by third parties once they move to the newer hardware.

So yes, it's all fun and games now with Darksiders 2 and whatnot, but how about in, say, 2013, when the new Xbox and PS4 are out, and everyone's playing Fallout 4 but the Wii U can't handle it so it gets either a downgraded port (think Dead Rising: Chop Till U Drop) or no release at all?

Joyswag: Halo Wars (Day Two) [update]

Star Wars, but they need to get Ensemb-- err, Robot on the job to revive the series.

Joystiq hands-on: DC Universe Online (pre-alpha)

No, of course I know about that, what I meant was is this game going to support the 360 controller? I know most games do, but ideally it'd be one of those situations where the game auto-maps its controls to the 360 controller, sort of like how Gears does where instead of 'Press Button 1' it'd say 'Press A'.

Anyway I'm asking because if this is a Sony production, I could see how they'd be reluctant to allow for blatant native support for an Xbox controller.

Joystiq hands-on: DC Universe Online (pre-alpha)

Are there plans to enable 360 controller support for PCs? I want to play this game on the PC with a controller like a proper action game, but I don't have a PS3 nor do I particularly like the DualShock.

Joyswag: PlayStation 3 (40GB)

I usually get mine from Wal-Mart if its a big release, Gamestop if it's a smaller one.
