Sep 18th 2011 6:06PM (Joystiq)Derp, double post. Actually, Fox owns the film rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four, and that's why you haven't/won't see them in future Marvel Studios films. However, Marvel does own video game rights to these properties, so theres a chance you could see them pop up in an Avengers video game. Where it gets tricky is when you bring up something like a Super-Skrull.
The question is, does Fox also own the film rights to the iconic X-Men/Fantastic Four powers? I'm inclined to think not, so we may end up seeing a super-skrull or two in the Avengers film that have powers very similar to superheroes featured in other film franchises.

Jun 7th 2011 3:44PM (Joystiq)So yes, it's all fun and games now with Darksiders 2 and whatnot, but how about in, say, 2013, when the new Xbox and PS4 are out, and everyone's playing Fallout 4 but the Wii U can't handle it so it gets either a downgraded port (think Dead Rising: Chop Till U Drop) or no release at all?
