Chris you'll probably never end up reading this but I would strongly advise playing Metro 2033. It's probably one of the best shooters out there. Assuming that you bought it on Steam you should try the Ranger Easy or Ranger Hard difficulty modes, they add a lot of extra tension and take away some focus from the bad shooting elements.

This is a ridiculous question I know, but what designates it as an "artificial" increase, and not a meaningful one? I thought it was one that was reasonably grounded given the condition of the metro tunnels.

I'm of the opinion that the Ranger Mode DLC actually improved the game quite a bit. While the enemies weren't bullet sponges in those modes, neither were they pushovers, with human enemies becoming very deadly once you realized that ammo was much more scarce.

Really cool that a 17 year old can be doing something like this. Also, it's probably going to look really good if he ever wants to get an industry position.

The Bioware Social Forums depress me.

The forumer's thesis is pretty great. First of all, the "No Homosexuality" option makes no sense because this is an RPG, a game where you're supposed to create your character as you play. Not to mention that it wouldn't make it a believable world if characters displayed only one form of sexual orientation.

He even equates "Straight Male Gamers" as being the only group who are fans of Bioware's games, completely ignoring others.

They charge you to change your gamertag because otherwise people would be changing their gamertag constantly. While it is kind of stupid it would just be inefficient to have one or two guys whose job is to change people's gamertags as they ask for it. Also people would just change their gamertag to get rid of a past reputation.

I'm agreeing with you on this one. It's impossible to flip the Huey while flying it (I think one of my friends actually tried and failed to do so) and it's really hard to shoot it down with the RPG.

I haven't tried using the LMG's or AR's so it's possible they're really good at taking them down with small-arms fire.
