I can't say that I have a problem with it, since I haven't seen it. i am waiting judgement, and will try to get into a beta, if they have one in late spring. The game looks good, and will look forward to the beta reports.

Looking forward to jumping in when I get back from deployment this spring...already got the game, and it is jsut sitting there...thank god for Skyrim, tho. I would certianly HOPE your developers are playing the game, since you know...they have to keep adding content.

I have 141 hours in Skyrim...and I am nowhere near completion of the game...will there be anything for a gamer like me in GW2?

I REALLY don't believe in full F2P, but i have always like this model for MMO. I think it it a great way to get new players in the game, and offer them a rich enough experience to make the financial commitment or not, to a game. I look forward to SWTOR shifting to this model in about 2-3 more months, and while I love the intial look of GW2 (I bought 3 of the expansions at there launches)...I really worry about a totally free F2P model.

It was a dominating year for the Xbox...what will 2012 bring...dunno, but hopefully, more games on Xbox, and less TV deals.

REALLY?!??! So, those employees monitoring the game don't get paid, and the electricity is free, and the maintenance cost for those services is also free...wow...who knew?!

So, with all these title seeing 300-500% increases...what does it mean in terms of PROFITS and REVENUES streams...this is a business, not some game charity.

I am excited, as I played the heck out of Diablo 2, but being deployed, and having the mando internet restriction is a HUGE bummer! I will probably STILL pre-order, just to have it, and hope it works on this slow ass internet that I have over here.

In other related news, Samsung post 4.5 BLN in profits for the last qtr, which is more profits than Sony has posted in years! This company needs a radical shake-up in how they are doing business, with more of a focus on products that people want, at decent margins for profits. Maybe Hirai will focus on such, but if the management culture at Sony is anything like at Olympus...not likely.
