Mass Effect 3 director defends DLC, endings with 'common sense'

@Ebok007

Fair point. And I suppose that both are likely to yield similar results.

@EffinNinja

Sorry you didn't like the ending. Regretfully though, not liking something does not entitle you to anything.

Fortunately for you and hundreds of others, you can still take to the interwebs and voice your disapproval. Ad nauseum. But you all clearly did not need me to tell you that.

Mass Effect anime coming this fall, all about James Vega

Threatened? Try utterly bored by.

For instance, I'm a huge Gears of War fan... same thing going on there, but that's also what it's billed as. I think BioWare and ME fans would both like to think that they provide something different and a little more intelligent. That's why people are annoyed, not because of some made-up homophobia. Go project elsewhere.

We've encountered thousands of characters EXACTLY like James Vega across videogames of all genres.

Even if you can get past the meat-head schtick, he's still uninteresting as all hell.

DICE's future plans go beyond the Battlefield franchise

I've gotten better impressions from worse games in less time. It was plenty of time for *me* to form an opinion, even if it was not the same as the opinion you eventually formed.

I've sent games back to GameFly without ever having put them in the tray, but Mirror's Edge still takes the cake for the game with least time in the tray altogether.

Put it in, played for almost 15 minutes before reaching the conclusion that a first-person platformer was the dumbest idea for a video game ever (and hadn't been well executed at that). I then immediately pulled the disc out, put it back in the envelope, sealed it and immediately walked it down to the mailbox.

In my opinion EA/DICE has done the right thing in not prioritizing a sequel.

Dungeon Siege 3 review: An Id's paradise

Jun 21st 2011 5:05PM (Joystiq)
What a mess. I played the co-op demo twice with two different friends and enjoyed it thoroughly. This goes from a "buy" to a "rent". (In fact it already did when destructoid revealed this nasty tidbit last week, should be in my mail box today from Gamefly.)

Hopefully I'll get eight or so enjoyable dungeon-crawling hours out of it.

Red Faction: Armageddon review: Enemy mine

@TheShaper

Agreed. I read it twice and was still bewildered. Is this audience very familiar with Anton Chekov and his play "The Three Sisters?" There's got to be a thousand more relatable ways to make that point.

Looks like TF2 + Borderlands + Bulletstorm. I'm medium-ish interested.

@MLS

Fair enough, but I think Nintendo is an exception to the rule.
