I had problems with Plex Media Server constantly re-indexing when it was set to update each time a file was changed; changing it to re-index daily fixed that.

(As it happens, there wasn't any control over *when* it would re-index, so I turned automatic re-indexing off and set up launchd to do it at 3am each day. But that's the advanced class :)

I thought the inclusive tethering was only available on the One Plan tariffs, which the £15/month isn't - so you would need to be on the £25/month one to get tethering.

Please let me know if I'm wrong on this, because I'd certainly find tethering useful once I get an iPad :)

Another one here for the move to Three. I don't use many texts or voice minutes, but I do use about 300-500Mb a month. On the 1-month tariff, this seems to be a slight increase on the £20 a month I'm already paying - which is rather more than the £15 a month I would be paying on Three.

Plus O2 don't actually have 3G in several locations where I need it, and they can't even tell me when or if they'll be upgrading the towers.

Yes - I'm going to California for a week at the end of March, and I'd like to know what my options are for a data SIM. Don't care particularly about calls and SMS, but need a cheap pre-pay data option.

Being able to rent a MiFi for the week would be ideal - does anybody do this?

Only version 4.x, according to their website. If you're on 3.x or earlier, it's full price.

I'm convinced Apple's testing procedure is "works for locale US/California. Ship it!" The bug's been known about for weeks - why isn't the fix out yet? Even if it means releasing iOS 4.11 with *nothing but this fix* in it.
