No good. I liked having intellect on my paladin's gear. I don't want a "blue rage" bar. This reminds me of FINAL FANTASY VI, which (it's in my top 5 favorite RPGs of all time) basically made it so anyone can learn any spell. In comparison to FINAL FANTASY IV, where you have a white mage, you have a dark knight, dragoon, etc. I want reasons to use classes. I can't say much for PvE, but in PvP, everyone's a god. Blizzard listens to the masses (majority = n00bs).
Soon enough, warlocks will have a way to destroy rogues if enough people complain. Just like hunters complaining about that deadzone. Instead of telling the players to work at things and figure it out, they just change them to make it easier. Hunters and ret paladins are useless in Arena? They are awesome classes if played right, but most can't do that. So instead of acquiring skill, make all classes win by pressing 1, 2, 3, 4. Great solution.
As a ret paladin with decent amount of S4 gear, I really like the way the game is now. I like being the underdog.. people expect certain classes to suck, and with a skilled player, they really don't. But now ret paladins are buffed up and a ton of holy paladins are respeccing. Now rets are gonna be facerollers. I don't want to play like a warlock does. That isn't as satisfying to me (and paladins really aren't complex).
For the love... Could you guys get over the capital "E"? Have you not been paying attention to any WipEout games until now? Have you ever seen the older logos? Do you know anything about style? Just leave it alone already.
This is funny because it's something that us audio guys have been complaining about for over a decade now, and nobody cared. Now that it's in a popular video game, everyone cares. This is nothing new at all, and you people listening to mainstream music wouldn't even know the difference unless pointed out to you. I bet many of you think songs sound awesome on the radio, but guess what? Radio stations have their own set of outbound compressors that further crush audio signals and cause pumping. It's unbearable for me to listen to, but your average listener won't complain.
And just so you know, it's the record labels who compare cuts to other CDs and say "...this isn't as loud as LIИKIИ PARK—make it louder." The engineers just do as they're told. They know it sucks, they aren't idiots. It's a mastering engineer's job to hear grass growing, but to make money, they have to follow orders from people who don't know shit about fuck. Nothing new under the sun.
Ha...And now that I think about it, Ted mastered LIИKIИ PARK's albums, too (but I was just picking a random example).
