The Droid can and has been run stable at least as high as 1.1 GHz. Look into either SholesMod or Bugless Beast for more info.

I had one of the ZIF ones for about a week before I sent it back. Any sort of threaded I/O and they freeze up for 10-20 seconds. As bad or worse than JMicron drives, avoid them!
