N+ is at best a demonstration of basic physics principals in a game, but XBLA has a better example of physics programming with Roboblitz.

XBLA does have a lot of lackluster and subpar games, but N+ is part of that list. Look at the Wii and DS retail game displays and you will realize how few quality games are actually being produced copmared to how many total games are released.

The issue isn't specific to XBLA by any means.

Paying for betas and faster demo downloads?

What sort of consumer would actually fall for that?

The demo was beyond impressive, but $40 is beyond what I can afford to pay for a complete luxury item right now.

Most independant media editors stopped using Apple equipment after being screwed post the dual G4s ($500 to enable multi CPU support for 1st party software listing it on the box, no thanks). Now it is time for everyone else to see how little respect Apple has for its customers.

I won't touch another Apple product after that scam and I grew up with Macs. Parents have had Macs since the 128k steady through to a G4 iBook. They don't use Apple any longer either.
