@Danjcb There won't be a God of War IV, at least not by Santa Monica Studio

right after GoW3 shipped they confirmed they were working on something else.

I do suspect this is either Uncharted 3, Sly 4, or whatever Santa Monica was working on.

This game is $50 on all platforms or only PC?

@PedoJokerBear Eurogamer is actually one of the most sophisticated mainstream gaming sites. Between them and EDGE you can get very insightful and well written reviews. But I am surprised to see a 10 from them, considering what amazing games have been subjected to 7s, 8s, and 9s.

@GordoJones88 Yeah I had heard something about that a week ago. Makes sense since Bizarre wasn't independent when they were with Microsoft Game Studios. Geometry Wars is probably fine too, then.

Unless there were any other franchises Bizarre worked on that we care about I guess this isn't so bad. Maybe Bizarre lost some key talent because frankly their latest games haven't been like what we've known from them.

@bluenotesmiley They might've seeked such a deal. But Bizarre isn't being "let go" here, they're being closed. For some of the studio heads to make it out of there with some of the older IPs they'd at least have to bring up a lawsuit or two because Activision certainly won't dismiss that property without lifting a finger.

@bluenotesmiley That's not how this works. Bizarre is being dissolved and terminated, all outstanding assets remaining under Activision ownership.

@EndynOmni No, all PS3s are region-free. You can play any PS3 title from any place in the world with any PS3.

@UnnXandros My definition of awesome contains a certain notion of quality, however. I feel they've got some catching-up to do.
