For whatever reason, I just do so very much better with Hyperspeed, in GH2 and GH3. I know it's not JUST the GH3 engine being easy--I hit stuff in GH2 I'd never hit in RB.

This just became an instant buy. :D

A place I bowl at, "Tokyo Game Action" out in Winchendon, MA, is supposed to get the Japanese machine sometime in August. I'm not a fighting game fan, but just a heads up to those who might be in the area.

My first box died with this same issue. I sent it in to MS anyways, see if they make an exception, I'll find out soon if they will. This is a pretty well-known error, just not nearly as common as the RRoD.

This is caused by a bad AV cable or a bad scaler chip, the scaler chip being the issue that makes graphics such as this. (The AHA/HANA chip) The towel trick DOES work on this error as well, which probably means it's an overheating issue. The penny fix on the chip seems to work too from what I've read, another RRoD fix.

I hope MS goes the way of Sony with the PS2 and fixes any hardware errors soon.

If it doesn't run in Firefox, it doesn't need to run.

ActiveX needs to die, it's spawned too many security holes.

This Silverlight is pointless--they should have tried it...5-10 years ago before Flash was GIGANTIC on the web. And you know MS won't release the tools Flash has for user created content.

They obviously look the same, as many characters in many Japanese-made games do, because everyone in Japan IS A CLONE OF EACH OTHER!


...no? Well, maybe the character designer got fired so they thought, just put a new pair of pants and a wig on this guy and we'll call it a character.

Wow, those specs are 1000% better than my Vizio. (Vizio is a great HD starter TV though--stuff still looks great compared to what I've been used to!) This'd be a hugely welcome replacement, my parents' have been looking at TVs, so I could give them my old one.
