I would have preferred an April Fool's Day Prank with Aperture Science and Colorware teaming up to provide garishly colored turrets to the consumer public at ridiculous prices.

I'm not sure which version of the PC game had it, but YDKJ had one of the best, if not funniest, Easter Eggs in it. Long story short, a friend was telling me a story on how he and his girlfriend were playing the game, and he was really kicking her butt. It got to the point where it was one of the questions where you need to do a little text-entry.
