@MGTrey No one is "whining for 5 stars" I haven't played the game, I have no idea if I would give it a perfect rating. The comment speaks to the apparent fact that the reviewers on this site have no scoring standard. I understand that game review, just like movies and every other form of media is highly subjective, however reviews do influence purchasing decisions for a lot of people. As such they need to at least approach "fairness" even if its within one ecosystem. I don't expect reviews from this site and IGN to line up. But the disparities within Joystiq's own staff is quite obvious. Even more maddening (for this review) is that the take home message (i.e. the score) doesn't reflect what is actually stated in the review.

@Mahapralaya Just read the Battlefield review as well.....Joystiq's rating system means nothing....the reviewer tore the BF3 single player to shreds and it still got 4 1/2 WTF

This review....kinda sucks. I mean you REALLY tried to find fault in the game and didn't, when that happens you give it a 5. "Formulaic" plot lines are not a negative if they are executed to the highest degree. All I saw was top notch single player, incredible multiplayer, impeccable controls, unbeatable graphics, industry leading voice acting....the pros go on and on. Just give it the damn 5th star, stop misleading readers into thinking they're getting anything less than one of the best games in this console generation.

Ok Ubisoft.....NO MONEY FOR YOU! Inverted just makes sense, I started that way with flight simulators and never looked back.

Letitia is a transvestite right? But seriously, that is an unfair characterization. She looks like an average modern urban black woman, but talks like a 1930s black house servant. If it were a game set in that period, it wouldn't be racist, but this is a little offensive. Poor voice-acting choice, very poor.

@JimmyHandsome You'd be surprised how much cash we students get put our hands on if we cut back on unnecessary things like books.
