Pretty sure it was an Apple ][ or ][+ at school. Used to play Lemonade Stand all the time on it. Oldest I own now is either a //e or //c. I'm not sure which is older since the //e is enhanced and the //c has a later ROM, and either could have been purchased that way or as the original revision and later upgraded.

Also, my first was a Macintosh. A Plus, I believe.

Wouldn't it be in 480p, which is Enhanced Definition, not standard? Leshrac is right, though. Most TV shows aren't available higher than that - unless it's major network, Discovery Channel, or HBO.

I mean, there's no reason for high-detailed anything in a Mario game unless it's an element of gameplay (like the water in Sunshine). Unless the grass is going to do something it's worthless in a Mario game, and wouldn't even be there in the first place.

These photos aren't real because Mario wouldn't be in Generic Fantasy Town 12. He would be in Crazy Goomba-Infested Jungle Gym. Especially look at the roofs: Why is Mario there? There's no coins, and there's coins EVERYWHERE in Mario. There's no shines, stars, or mushrooms. And there's no good place to put them if there were any! Why bother?

And why the hell is Mario in the land of giants in the first pic? That doorknob is at twice his height!

This'll be interesting, 'cause apparently I might end up having to decide between awesome controls and Xbox Live. I'm not sure what I'd choose.

The thing about Apple supporting Windows apps is that Mac ports of Windows software will stop. For instance, Adobe might not consider it worthwhile to spend the extra time getting a Carbon Photoshop to work when the Windows one works fine on a Mac. Well, maybe not Adobe, but you get my point. Less Mac software means that less people will want to buy a Mac.

Basically, you want to keep dual-booting and WINE to the nerdiest people so that the less nerdy Mac users still have a need for Mac versions of Office, Photoshop, World of Warcraft, etc.

Sega did this earlier in Feel the Magic XY/XX. In the manual they warn you, "Do not touch the girl." This is important advice for many real-life situations, but they're mainly referring to the menu screen. If you touch her there she will react negatively to you in various ways depending you where you place your filthy paws.
