Although I agree with you for the most part, you should get your facts straight. The woman who sued McDonalds did not "become a millionaire," she walked with $640,000. Not a small sum of money, but not the millions people think.

Yeah this is a great game but EA really needs to step it up. There should be some sort of 'snap' when laying out roads, power lines, and water. And some features just aren't there. For example, they keep telling me to build a stadium, yet I can't find a stadium in my build options. Also, it is very glitchy as you had said. Also, the transportation problem is ridiculous. It is impossible to satisfy their transportation needs and I don't even see them using it. And the bridges/power lines over water problem is just annoying.

But I dont have a problem with the making thousands a month when I should clearly have a deficit. I have even lowered the interest rates to 0% and managed to make a bunch of money.

And can anyone figure out how to get the seaport working?

I live in the San Fernando Valley, HUGE suburb right north of Los Angeles. And although I agree that we should use a much larger percentage of revenues for the high speed train, and better public transportation, to say that a $1 tax per gallon on gasoline is the way to do it is just incorrect.

See, America's, and more specifically, California's transportation problem (epidemic) is a catch 22. People don't want to use the public transportation (metro) system because it is too unreliable and dirty, and the public transportation system is unreliable and dirty because no one wants to use it. Trust me, I hated the wastefulness of driving 2 miles (3-5 minutes) to school when there was a metro bus that took that route every day. But sometimes, the bus would just not come, or be 30-45 minutes late, or, worst of all, be 20 minutes EARLY.

But there is hope, LA's new (2 years I think) Orange line connecting the southern San Fernando Valley with the Red line, which goes into Los Angeles and connects to the other lines has been an overwhelming success. I'm pretty sure it has already become profitable, and it has far surpassed expectations. I think (hope) this was an awakening to LA, and California that, when implemented correctly, that a public transportation system can be highly effective.

oh please, there's no reason it should be acceptable for these laptops to get as hot as they do. I really do feel like I can burn myself on my laptop sometimes, even on the top next to the trackpad.

RSS feed downloading of torrents is amazing, and I found a sweet program to do this for any torrenting software. It's called Ted.

Just wanted to chime in and say thanks to AB for your great news coverage, and just damn entertaining articles. I'm a daily reader, and this is my number one source of automotive news and information. Not a day goes by that there isn't an article (or few) worth reading on this site.
