I cannot believe Sony's freaking tactic is working. People are getting hyped over a system that is not going to do anything different than an Xbox 360. And just because they havent released any information, people continue to spectulate what they WANT, in terms of games. They are all assuming, guessing, wishing. Sony hasnt given you the slightest idea what theyre launch line-up is going to be. And basing it off you guy's comments, it seems the launch line-up is going to look similar to the PS2
with Madden, SSX, Tekken, Ridge Racer... Who will spend 500+ to play these on launch?... But you bash and hate on the 360 which will be entering its second generation of games. And if you think ANY PS3 playable demo. Will outshine a Gears of War playable demo. You gotta be kidding me. Then some say, "Halo 3 will be there, but I dont really care about it, unless it playable. I want to see what sony will have". And sony is gonna be like that girl you waited and waited on to show you the goods. And once you finally got to dive in, it wasnt nearly as good as you had hoped for. I cant wait for Sony to be humbled, and you fanbois too. Sony aint got nothing exciting to show. NOTHING at all. What a new controller, cause the last caught some flak. Then they go and copy ms xbx live. The only unique thing they got is Blu-ray. And who in the heck wants a Blu-ray player? (beside Shane Bettenhausen). And I have heard TONS of Sony hanger-ons, give lack of games as the reason not to buy the 360, same pitiful reason for the xbox too (which is true). So when sony comes out and launches with 8 games and NO NEW IP's at that. What are they gonna say then?... Who in their RIGHT MIND would pay $150 for a machine, when you can get the same game experience for cheaper. And if you play online, offers you a more robust of options and better community.

Nintendo is exciting, I think they are doing it right. But we need to see it in action. Im sure we all have came up with kinds of ways to use the remote. But I can see it falling the way of the cube if not done right. Who in the HELL wants fly a controller in their hand and see it on TV as a plane. Or who is going to enjoy a night of conducting a orchestra?.. The thing I think is exciting people most is going to be the Revmote use in FPS, and party games. Other than that flip it to the side, and Play Donkey Kong Country or SMB...

Its going to be an exciting e3, cant wait...

I love the Mom and Pop Wallmart. Alot you guys have a point. The pricing of the system is going to be MAJOR. Why would anyone pay $600 for a game machine that plays a format I HAVE NEVER SEEN in a store?.. The fact was the PS2 was right on time with the DVD player. Its competition which I thought was a better gaming machine (Dreamcast) didnt have this feature. And was only $100 less. So ANY consumer could see the value here, everyone wanted a DVD player the quality of the movie was in some cases, better than the theater. And like someone else said. Everyone could SEE the advantages of DVD over VHS. And You also didnt need to buy a NEW tv to take advantage of the medium. I know the average american is NOT going to buy a new HD TV, GAME CONSOLE, And SWITCH TO new media format that is going to cost them more. All in one Summer. I like sony and WE as gamers need the competition. But I hope they dont shoot themselves in the foot. By trying to force feed the general public a new format that is not needed. We dont know what thier goal is. But from most of the news releases, they are hyping that dang Blu-Ray way more than games. SONY PLEASE COME BACK TO YOUR SENSES. GIVES US GAMES, LEAVE THE BLU-Ray to Hitachi or someone else. You focus on bringing this beast to the public, at an affordable price. And maybe 3 years down the road see what HD market looks like. Then maybe re-release a Blu-ray version for those who want one.

Why is it so hard for people to except that Sony will not have a service that is equal to Xbox live when they launch?. Why do people have a problem paying 49.99 per year for a live membership?. Put see no problem with paying 14.99 per mo. for a mmo?.
