I think it's way too early for Bioware to be asking for reservations. I loved Dragon Age and I look forward to DA2, but it's going to take more than a trailer to convince me to put money down on a game I know next to nothing about.

I'm going to wait for promotions from rivaling stores as well (Best buy, Amazon, etc) before choosing who I'm going to buy the game from. I bought the original for a great promotional price and got a ton of goodies, which became available a month prior to the release. IMO, reserving now is just way too early.

I agree with you. I feel those kind of jokes are a bit over the top. Some of the reasons why video games in general have a hard time attracting more women is due to the immaturity of some of the gamers and ironically media groups out there.

Justin, I would have thought that you would have known to steer clear of immature jokes like killing and raping given the fact that you're part of a blog that attracts the attention of a good number of gamers of both gender and all ages.

Video games already have a bad rap for instigating violent behavior in players. It would be cool if we didn't feed the stereotype.

It seems you don't know much about home, yet you're bashing it. If you don't like it, that's cool, but at least take the time to get your facts straight.

Sony is making money off home so they're going to keep supporting it. I don't love or hate home, but I think it's a cool way to socialize online for those that are into that. They’re also getting more people to log on and stay on longer so they must be doing something right.

Games that have replay value weighs heavily into my decision on whether I purchase a title or not.

I've heard and read a lot about this game and it’s on my list, but if I keep hearing stuff like this I could change my mind. I don't want to pay 60 bucks for a controllable movie. I want a game that I can enjoy for some time after I finish it.

You misunderstood my comment. The CODE was in the box, Not the actual content. It's good to know that the content is up for download, but my comment was in support of having a disk in the box rather than having to put in a code for download.

Sure, it's cheaper via code, but DLC for many games is rarely a smooth ride.

This is why DLC via reservation is a bad idea. If it isn't in the box when you bought it, don't trust it!

This is laughable. Yes, Modern Warfare 2 is going to be great, but the sole reason why Modern Warfare 2 is going to sell four times the amount this November is because there won't be any other games to buy when it's released!

I have respect for companies that have faith in their titles and stick to their release dates that fall around the release of Modern Warfare 2.

Uhhh, Randy? PS3 don't us the MS point system for purchases. You
might want to remind the graphic designer of that when he/she comes
up with the images for the articles if you're going to publish this
as a PS3 article as well as a 360 one....

I wish there was a built in mode to give all of the Transformers G1
skins. I know everyone has their series of choice, but imo no of
the Transformers series comes close to G1.
