Bungie: No plans for more Halo 3 content beyond ODST

Sounds like they might be making a Halo IV over at Microsoft? I wonder what Frankie is doing over there.. hint hint hint

Welcome to the New Joystiq (3.0 if you're counting)

Jan 27th 2009 2:33AM (Joystiq)
Everyone here at 8bitjoystick.com specifically myself, my friend BBQ, My cat and my plastic figurines would like to congratulate Joystiq.com on this glorious day. Future generations will look back with glee and I will be able to proudly say that I was there the day that they turned all of their mini Fanboy blogs into one super power Blog an Ultrastiq is you will. Just like Voltron but with no robot lions.

Also thanks for being way more successful than me to the point that people think that I am ripping off your name even though I had my website a couple years before you guys started up. Sure you may have big corporate AOL money and hats made out of TimeWarner stock but at least I am keeping it indie... chicks dig indie guys right... hello.. ladies.. .. darn.

Anyway congratulations on the blog system redesign and I'll see you guys at PAX or something.

PS: Ludwig's old Xbox 360 is glitching and puking up digital blood like an ebola monkey is about to die. I think you should run a death watch poll on when his Xbox is going to flash the Red Ring of Death and then proceed to burn down his grass roof thatched mud hut. My guess is Thursday at noon.

Podcast Rodeo for June 24: One without ear

Jun 24th 2008 7:43PM (Joystiq)
Actually that is Irene McGee who (yes was on Real World Seattle but she thought the show was full of crap)

She made one of my favorite podcats on media ethics called No Ones Listening (Best interview with Noam Chompsky evar!)and she now hosts video podcasting show for Revision 3 called Social Brew.

That photo was from a craft project she submitted to Make Magazine.

Hey, what happened to those 'Lips'?

May 13th 2008 5:10PM (Joystiq Xbox)
It is still coming. It is a hardware project.

I don't know when they are going to officially anounce it, thought it was yesterday.

Rumor: 'Lips' isn't a game, it's a new accessory

May 12th 2008 3:05PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I am 100% certain that "Lips" is a codename for a piece of hardware that is going to have something to do with voice communications. The reason why I did not mention it before is that I was not sure what exactly it was but when Joystiq and NeoGAF broke word of it being shown tomorrow I just wanted raise my hand and say that I knew that it is a piece of hardware too.

'Lips' and 'Ninja Blade' also revealed, speculate away!

Lips is a real new controller thing that Microsoft is working on.

PAX 07: Pink Godzilla vs. our money

Aug 27th 2007 7:41PM (Joystiq)
To all you gamers visting Seattle Pink Godzilla is a temporary tempation. To us it is a constant threat to our bank accounts. There are many times that I am tempted to walk out with a Famicom Disk Drive or other retro gaming goodness. They do have an excelent website www.pinkgodzillagames.com and they do ship.

PAX 07: Pink Godzilla vs. our money

As a gamer in the Pacific Northwest Pinkgodzilla Games's shop in the Seattle International District is holy ground to me. I might as a well just sign my paycheck over to them via direct deposit. I have developed a bad Famicom collection habit because of them. Holy ground I tell you.
